Image Metadata Remover
Create a clean JPG copy without embedded EXIF metadata such as device or location details.
Remove image metadata locally
The tool redraws the visible pixels into a fresh JPG. Original EXIF fields are not copied, and your source file stays unchanged.
Important limitation
This removes embedded metadata, not information visibly printed in the image. Files up to 20 MB are supported.
What metadata removal means here
The visible pixels are redrawn into a new JPG. Original EXIF fields such as camera model, capture time and GPS coordinates are not deliberately copied to the output.
Important limitations
Visible information such as a street sign, name badge or screenshot notification remains part of the pixels. Converting to JPG also removes transparency and may slightly change quality. This is a privacy aid, not a forensic guarantee for every possible hidden data structure.
Safer sharing checklist
- Open the clean copy and inspect visible personal details.
- Share the new file, not the original by mistake.
- Keep the original privately if you may need full quality later.
